John Goodridge was born and raised in Mount Vernon, Indiana, where he graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1989. From there, he attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, graduating in 1993 with honors, receiving his bachelor's and political science degree in English literature.

From there, he attended Valparaiso School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1996. John was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1996. He is licensed to practice in the Indiana Supreme Court, U.S. Northern and Southern District Courts of Indiana, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.

He currently resides in Evansville, Indiana, where he has an office on the west side of Evansville. He is married to Kathie who assists his practice as office manager. John is devoted to his practice and helping his clients in whatever their needs may be.
